When the matter was taken up for consideration on 24.01.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today, i.e. on 29.01.2018 under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel.

2. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that since the relief sought for in this writ petition is related to the Academic Year 2013-2014, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.
