PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- as compensation before the lower court in the order in Crl.M.P.No.965 of 2019 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed in the order dated 05.02.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.965 of 2019 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram, while granting bail to the petitioner.

2.The petitioner was arrested by the respondent for an offence under Sections 498-A and 304-B of IPC on 04.01.2019. The petitioner has l filed a petition seeking for bail before the respondent and bail was granted as the offence being bailable in nature on certain conditions.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was unable to comply with the condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- as compensation before the lower court. The learned counsel would further submit that this Court may consider to modify this condition alone.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to modify the condition. Accordingly, the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- instead of Rs.50,000/- as compensation before the lower court. All other conditions shall remain intact.

5. This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above directions.
