The petitioner has challenged orders dated 06.07.2005 and 03.10.2011 passed by the Joint Registrar of Co-operative

Societies / Chairman, Common Cadre Services Committee, Krishnagiri suspending the petitioner. The petitioner also seeks a consequential direction to the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service with all consequential benefits.

2. Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Government Advocate for R1 to R3 and Mr.M.S.Palaniswamy, learned counsel for the Special Officer, KK.252, Veeramalai Primary Agricultural Co-operative Bank Limited/R4.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the Societies / R1 to R3 would submit that the petitioner was, in fact, reinstated in duty and permitted to retire on 31.03.2020.

4. Recording the aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. As regards the payment of terminal benefits, since there is no clarity at this juncture as to whether any terminal benefits have been paid to the petitioner and what the quantum of the same is, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the Society seeking arrears, if any. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
