Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 05-10-2020 followed with reminder dated 07-10-2020 and 06-11-2020 by RPAD seeking to pass orders on the proposals submitted by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings Ka.No.62/2020/Na.Ni.Thi./A1 dated 10-03-2020 recommending the grant of Computer Patta to the petitioners for house Plot No.8(measuring and extent of 1235 Sq.Ft(114.5 Sq.Mt.) in favour of the 1st petitioner) and Plot No.9(measuring an extent of 1235 Sq.Ft. (114.5 Sq.Ft.) in favour of the 2nd petitioner), situated in Survey No 69, (T.S.No.151), Sri Amman Nagar, Oragadam Village, Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District forthwith.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 05-10-2020 followed with reminder dated 07-10-2020 and 06-11-2020 by RPAD seeking to pass orders on the proposals submitted by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings Ka.No.62/2020/Na.Ni.Thi./A1 dated 10-03-2020 recommending the grant of Computer Patta to the petitioners for house Plot No.8(measuring and extent of 1235 Sq.Ft(114.5 Sq.Mt.) in favour of the 1st petitioner) and Plot No.9(measuring an extent of 1235 Sq.Ft. (114.5 Sq.Ft.) in favour of the 2nd petitioner), situated in Survey No 69, (T.S.No.151), Sri Amman Nagar, Oragadam Village, Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District forthwith.

2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader made a statement on instructions that the report of the third respondent has been forwarded to the first respondent/ the Assistant Land Settlement Officer. He further submitted that final proceedings shall be made after an formal hearing and submitted that due to the notification of the General Elections for the State Legislative Assembly, some time may be granted. 3.The first respondent is now required to hold a formal enquiry in the fourth week of May 2021, and hear the parties who are likely to be affected by his proposed action and pass the final proceedings within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
