Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 6 and 7 making necessary amendments with corrections in the revenue records for survey number 573/7 at Podaiyur Village, Tittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District and to restore the petitioners name as before by disposing the representation to respondents 1, 2, 6 and 7, dated 26.10.2015 of petitioners.

On 23.09.2020 also, the learned counsel for the petitioners was not present, hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter on 28.09.2020 under the caption for dismissal. Though the matter has been listed under the caption for dismissal, today also, none appeared for the petitioners. Hence, this court left with no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution No costs.
