Mr.R.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider his applications dated 28.05.2013, 02.06.2015 and 15.02.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for issuance of Patta in respect of the agricultural land comprised in Survey No.36/6B measuring an extent of 8 1/2 cents situated at No.99, Vennipakkam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said applications have not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and decide. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 28.05.2013, 02.06.2015 and 15.02.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
