Prayer: Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1921 to punish the respondent for disobeying the order passed in R.A. No. 15 of 2018 in W.A. No. 1546 of 2017 dated 28.02.2018.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) We do not find any wilful disobedience of the order passed in the Review Application. The Division Bench has merely recorded the factum of the Government order having https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ been passed with respect to the promotion. Insofar as the

inter se seniority is concerned, it has been merely observed that the aforesaid matter is yet to be considered by the Government and, therefore, the same is left open. Now, it appears that the Government has also intimated to the parties concerned that a decision will be taken subject to the result of the pending matter before the Apex Court in SLP (C) No. 28670 of 2015 and SLP (C) Nos. 22717 - 22719 of 2015.

In such view of the matter, the contempt petition is closed. No Costs.

Consequently, connected SubApplication(OS) Nos. 268,309,310,324,325 of 2018 stand closed.
