PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025 and conduct an enquiry in respect of Patta No.2147, relating to the land situated at Ward No.4, Kilbachapet, Harur, Dharmapuri District, comprised in Survey Nos.152/1B1 and 152/3A2, after verifying the relevant revenue records. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the Patta No.2147 standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025 given to the official respondents. 2.According to the petitioner, the 4th respondent had illegally obtained Patta No.2147 for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner sought for cancellation of Patta No.2147 through representation dated 28.11.2025. Since the same was not considered by the official respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the representation of the petitioner as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deem fit to enquire. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with by this Court. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025, seeking for cancellation of Patta No.2147 standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deem fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
