2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is represented that the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.13259 of 2025 (Nagaraj) lodged a complaint as against the second respondent (Vetriselvan) in Crime No.56 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent/Police.

Similarly, the second respondent in Crl.O.P.No.13259 of 2025 had also lodged a counter complaint as against the petitioner in Crime No.57 of 2025. Pending investigation, both the parties have realised their mistakes and amicably settled the dispute between themselves. Hence, they filed these criminal original petitions to quash the abovesaid F.I.Rs.

4. Today, when the matters were taken up for hearing, both the petitioner and the second respondent appeared before this Court and admitted that they have settled the disputes between them and they did not want to proceed the cases further. Hence, they seek to quash the F.I.Rs filed against them.

5. In view of the submissions made by both the petitioner and the second respondent that they have settled the matter between themselves and also they did not want to proceed the cases further, both the F.I.Rs in Crime Nos.56 & 57 of 2025 pending on the file of the first respondent-Police, are quashed.

6. In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed.
