Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the Petitioner dated 20.12.2023 wherein a request has been made for the payment of bills raised by the Petitioner for various work orders for installing and changing from conventional to Solar and LED lamps with masts all amounting to a tune of Rs. 1,57,30,426/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty Seven Lakh Thirty Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Six only) within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court.

Heard Mr. J.Sriram, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. V.Ravi, Learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the First to Third Respondents, Mr. P.Ganesan, Learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the Fourth and Fifth Respondents, and Mr. S.Prabhakaran, Learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the Sixth and Seventh Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

When it was pointed out that reliefs sought against each of the Respondents arise out of distinct causes of action, which cannot be clubbed together in a single Writ Petition, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file fresh Writ Petitions against each of the Respondents for the respective claims and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
