... Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the respondent No.1 to transfer the investigation pending in Cr.No.606 of 2024 on the file of the respondent No.2 to respondent No.3.

O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.606 of 2024 from the file of the second respondent to the third respondent.
2.
On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent registered the FIR in Crime No.606 of 2024 for the offences under Section 194 BNSS, 2023, alleging that the petitioner's father committed suicide only because of his sisters. Initially, the property owned by the petitioner's father was settled in favour of the petitioner's sisters. Subsequently, the petitioner's father filed application to cancel the settlement deeds. While it was pending, he committed suicide. 3.
The only contention of the petitioner is that because of the petitioner's sisters, who failed to transfer the property in his favour, his father committed suicide. It is seen that there is a property dispute between the petitioner and his sisters. Therefore, the second respondent had instructed the petitioner to go for an amicable settlement with his sisters. Therefore, the petitioner sought for transfer of investigation from the file of the second respondent to the third respondent, instead of
altering the offence under Section 108 of BNS, 2023. This Court finds no ground to transfer the investigation from the file of the second respondent to third respondent. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kallakurichi, is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent.
4.
Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
