ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order refusing to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds. A perusal of the order shows that the petitioner's younger sister by name Ms.T.Vigila is a practising lawyer in this High Court. Secondly, the petitioner's father is also receiving the monthly family pension. For these reasons, the petitioner cannot come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint her on compassionate grounds, when the concept of compassionate appointment is carved out only to help a poverty-stricken family, due to the sudden demise of the breadwinner. But in the present case, after the death of the petitioner's mother on 19.3.2010, her father has been paid with the family pension. Secondly, the petitioner's younger sister is also a practising lawyer in this High Court. Therefore, this Court is not able to find any ground to interfere with the impugned order. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and it is dismissed. Consequently, W.M.P.No.11778 of 2017 is also dismissed. No costs.
