The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records of the respondent relating to order in Letter No.21990/P1/2011-6, Labour and Employment Department dated 13.01.2012 to quash the same and to issue consequential directions to the respondent to include the petitioner name in the panel for the year 2000-2001 for promotion as Principal/Vice Principal/Assistant Director of Government Industrial Taining Institute in the appropriate place therein in accordance with the petitioner seniority and consequent grant to promote the petitioner as Principal with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of the petitioner immediate junior.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in this writ petition and the matter has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. Considering the submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
