By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that he has purchased a land admeasuring to an extent of 0.05 cent in Survey No.193/16 by means of a registered document bearing No.1319/2011, and also other properties by means of registered documents bearing Nos.1994/2012, 1785/2009 and 1027/1985, and would further state that he is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner applied for transfer of patta in his name vide application dated 18.10.2012, and also paid necessary charges and it was also followed by a reminder dated 22.12.2014, and since he has not been favoured with any response, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents. 4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, and without entering upon the merits of the application, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 18.10.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after putting the concerned persons on notice. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
