ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Learned District Judge, Family Court to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.147 of 2025 within the

time stipulated by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner/husband submitted that the petitioner/husband has filed HMOP.No.147 of 2025 before the District Judge, Family Court, Erode against the respondent/wife seeking divorce. In order to contest the case, though respondent/wife, has entered appearance before the trial court through her counsel on 03.04.2025, so far, she has not filed her counter objections inspite of several opportunities and sufficient time given to her from 20.09.2025 to 09.01.2026.

3. He further submitted that the petitioner is working in a software company in Chennai and is now staying at Chennai. He could not take leave from his work often. The matter is repeatedly adjourning without any progress. The petitioner is suffering continuous mental and financial heardship due to the prolonged pendency of the case.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner/husband is working at Chennai and he has to travel from Chennai to Erode to attend each and every hearing and the matter has been adjourning time to time for filing counter objections by the respondent/wife and so far she has not filed her counter objections, the respondent/wife is hereby directed to cooperate with the matrimonial proceedings pending before the trial court. Accordingly, she is directed to file

her counter objections in HMOP.No.147 of 2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. On such filing of the counter objections, the District Judge, Family court, Erode is directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
