O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue a direction to the other operators from disturbing the operation of two containers trailers from operating the same as per circular dated 05.10.2019. In other words, the petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to act on the basis of the circular dated 05.10.2019.
2. Today, after notice, when the matter is taken up for further hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Chennai Port Trust (1st respondent) submitted that the very Circular dated 05.10.2019 was withdrawn with effect from 20.02.2020. He has produced a communication to that effect as well.
3. In view of the above stated change of circumstances, I do not think that anything survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
