ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC r/w Section 4 of Woman Harassment Act, in Crime No.72 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks the relief of anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioner assaulted the defacto complainant and his wife by hand, thereby caused injury to the defacto complainant. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) would submit that there is no injury caused to the complainant.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that there is no injury caused to the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ponneri, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a separate bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned magistrate concerned, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the Police Officer, who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. -sd/- 22/03/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
