Originally, by an order dated 17.03.2023, this Court, while admitting the matter, granted an order of interim stay on the condition that the management deposits 50% of the back wages within a period of four weeks. It is submitted that, accordingly, the management had obtained a demand draft taken for a sum of Rs.9,57,650/-. However, when it sought to deposit the amount, the time had already expired. Therefore, the Trial Court did not accept the deposit and the management has filed W.M.P.No.15654 of 2023 for extension of time. Accordingly, the time is extended to the petitioner management to deposit the amount.

2. Upon filing of the memo by the Management with the website uploaded copy of this order, the management may be permitted to deposit the amount at any time on or before 31.01.2025. Accordingly, the interim stay which is granted earlier shall stand made absolute, if the said sum, as directed is paid.
