Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2018 and direct them for payment of TA and also consider the transfer petition.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] Today, the Learned counsel for the Petitioner has made an endorsement in the Writ Petition to the effect that the prayer for payment of Travelling Allowance is not pressed. Further, an endorsement is also made in the Writ Petition to the effect that this Court may be pleased to direct the Respondents to consider the transfer petition (if presented) within a specified period considering the plight of the Petitioner.

2.Recording the aforesaid fact and the endorsement so made, the relief sought for in regard to the Travelling Allowance by the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, this Court directs the Petitioner to submit a transfer petition before the First Respondent/Principal District Judge, Villupuram, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If such a request for transfer is made by the Petitioner in the form of transfer petition within the time adumbrated by this Court, then, it is open to the First Respondent to look into the representation of the Petitioner and to pass necessary orders as he deems fit and proper based on the facts and circumstances of the case which floats on the surface.
3.With the aforesaid observations and direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
