O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been preferred challenging the judgment and order dated 29.07.2013 passed by the V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.No.152 of 2012 modifying the order dated 30.07.2012 passed by the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in C.C.No.2080 of 2011.

2. S.Sridevi got married to N.Sairam on 08.11.2009 and thereafter, their marriage ran into rough weather resulting in the parties getting extranged. Sridevi initiated proceedings in C.C.No.2080 of 2011 before the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 claiming various reliefs against Sairam and his family members in which the trial Court directed Sairam to pay a sum of Rs.2000/- per month as maintenance from August 2012 to Sridevi. However, the trial Court did not grant the other reliefs that were claimed by Sridevi. Aggrieved by the order passed by the trial Court, Sridevi filed a Criminal Appeal in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

C.A.No.152 of 2012, which was heard by V Additional District and Sessions Court, Chennai. The Appellate Court, by order dated 29.07.2013, enhanced the maintenance from Rs.2000/- to Rs.5,000/- and directed Sairam to pay the said sum from August 2012 to Sridevi. Challenging the order of the Appellate Court, Sairam and his family members have filed the present revision petition under Section 397 r/w. 401 Cr.P.C.

3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

4. The learned counsel for the revision petitioners submitted that since the parties have arrived at a compromise, he is withdrawing the revision petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Any amount, that has been deposited by Sairam and his family members in the trial Court, shall be disbursed to Sridevi.
