This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to take appropriate steps to perform Kumbabishekam to the Arulmigu Venugopalaswamy Thiru Kovil, Kunnavakkam Village, Post, Chengalpattu - 603 002 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2020. 2.

Since the limited relief is sought for direction to conduct the Kumbabishekam, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that they will conduct Kumbabishekam in the month of April 2024.
