PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the 2nd respondent's reply dated 7.2.2022 with respect to the Jeevan Anand Policy No.717846304, dated 24.11.2006, and quash the same and direct the respondent to consider the rejoinder dated 16.2.2022, wherein these petitioners had requested the respondent herein to disburse the death claim amount pertaining to the Policy Bearing No.717846304 dated 24.11.2006, as per the Legal Heir Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu in Certificate No.TN-7202107122895 dt.21.07.2021, i.e., to the petitioners herein who are the only surviving Class-1 Legal Heirs of the deceased Insured / R.Karunakaran without insisting for the succession certificate of the deceased Karunakaran with subsequent interest from the date of maturity of the above mentioned policy bearing No.717846304, dated 24.11.2006, to the date of payment within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
