Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 1st respondent dated 21.06.2017 in BCDFGISSSV No.19/2017 against the petitioner's son Ajithkumar @ Ajith, S/o.Kannappan, aged about 24 years, who is now confined in the Central Prison, Puzhal in pursuance of the detention order and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

1. The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Ajithkumar @ Ajith, son of Kannappan, aged about 24 years. The detenu stands detained by the respondent No.1 by virtue of his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order bearing No.BCDFGISSSV No.19/2017, dated 21.06.2017, wherein, he has been held to be a "Goonda", within the meaning of Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 1.1. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said order of detention, passed by the respondent No.1 against the son of the petitioner has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4035, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department dated 23.08.2017; a copy of the order has also been produced.

3. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, is taken on record. Accordingly, the petition is closed, as the same has been rendered infructuous.
