Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 6 herein to take action against the 7th respondent Thirukootam by considering the representations of the petitioners dated 15.11.2018 & 18.12.2020.

O R D E R

Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for R1 to R4 and R6 and Mr.R.P.Prathap Singh, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R5. Both learned counsel are armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally even at the stage of admission. In the light of the order that I propose to pass, no notice to R7 is necessary at this juncture. Hence, by consent of learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for R1 to R6, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal even at this stage.

2. The short prayer in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus seeking disposal of representations dated 15.11.2018 and 18.12.2020, which is to take action against Thirukootam, arrayed as R7.

3. Mr.Karthikeyan confirms that the representations have been received and assures the Court that the Joint Commissioner/R3 will consider the same and pass orders within a period of six (6) weeks from today after hearing the petitioner as well as the authorised representative of R7.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
