[Made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.,] The writ petition has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2020 for removal of encroachments.

2. The Commissioner, City Municipal Corporation, Coimbatore, in his counter affidavit, has stated that enforcement action had already been initiated and that a portion of the encroachment has already been removed.
3. Since in the remaining portion a Temple is in existence, the authorities are facing certain law and order issues. Notwithstanding this, the respondents shall proceed in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law.
4. In view of the fact that the Corporation had already initiated enforcement action, the respondents are directed to conclude the same as expeditiously as possible.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
