ORDER

This Criminal Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent Police to register the F.I.R. against the said person on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 08.10.2014 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented that the petitioner had given a complaint dated 08.10.2014 to the Inspector of Police, D5, Marina Police Station, Chennai-4 and no action has been taken. Therefore, this petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to go in person and give a fresh complaint in writing to the respondent-Police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
