The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent Bank namely, the 4th respondent to sanction loan, based on his application submitted earlier.
2. Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st and 2nd respondents.
Ms.S.R.Sumathy, learned standing counsel takes notice for the 3rd and 4th respondents.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submitted that there is a suit pending in respect of the land where the petitioner wants to establish a poultry farm. Therefore, the Bank is not in a position to extend the loan. However, it is admitted by the learned counsel that no order in writing is passed so far and communicated to the petitioner.
4. Needless to say that it is for the respondent Bank to pass an order and communicate the same to the petitioner so as to enable him to work out his remedy in a manner known to law. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 4th respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
