The present petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Paragraph No.6(c) of the order dated 24.01.2023 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.1409 of 2023 while granting anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one of the the conditions imposed on the petitioner is that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of eight weeks. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering with heart ailment, due to which, he was not able to comply with the said conditions [6(c)] as imposed by this Court . Hence, he seeks modification.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Taking into consideration, the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering the petitioner's heart ailment, this petition is allowed by modifying the condition to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the Inspector of Police, Pallikarani Police Station, Chennai on every Tuesday and Friday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three months. Except the above modification, all other conditions shall remain intact.

5. With the above modification, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
