Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th Respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for the refund of the entire amount equivalent to the difference in actual total salary paid to the petitioner from 01.07.1999 till 31.10.2000 and the pension due and payable to him apart from Rs.8,234 ordered to be deducted on the ground of excess amount paid between 1979 till 1999 and to consequently disburse to him the said amount with 18% interest on the delayed payment all consequential benefits. When the writ petition was listed on 29.07.2022, the learned counsel for the respondents R2 and R3 stated that the writ petitioner died on 20.08.2012. The learned counsel for the petitioner sought time for substituting the legal heirs of the petitioner. 2 / 4

2. When the writ petition is taken up today, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not able to contact his client. The learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement that the writ petition may be closed as the writ petitioner died. Recording the same the writ petition is closed. No costs.
