This application is filed seeking extension of time to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Judge, Special Court for SC/ST(POA) Act, Salem District, as ordered by this Court in the above Crl.O.P.No.2489 of 2022, dated 04.02.2022.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to the COVID - 19 Pandemic situation, the petitioner was unable to surrender before the court concerned.

3.Considering the circumstances, the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Judge, Special Court for SC/ST(POA) Act, Salem District, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2489 of 2022, dated 04.02.2022, is extended by a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
