This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.36 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and draft final report is ready and the same will be filed before the jurisdictional Court within a period of two weeks.

4.In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. There shall be a direction to the respondent Police to file the final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If ultimately, the final report is acted upon and summons issued to the petitioners and if the petitioners are aggrieved, it will be left open to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
