This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 27.04.2013 from the Chennai Police Commissioner office and the CSR issued by P6-Kodangaiyur Police Station vide No.PG15177/15439/2013 dated 26.12.2013 and to investigate into the matter. 2.Heard Mr.P.Kumaravel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record. 3.On reading of the complaint, it appears that the dispute is essentially between the petitioner and his brother with regard to the settlement of the property. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the police to register the case, that will amount to abuse of process of law. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
