ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.Ramesh, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 17 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Petition to set aside the judgment 'sentenced to undergo rigorous https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis imprisonment for a peirod of 4 1⁄2 years and to pay a fine of Rs.4,00,000/- in default
simple imprisonment for a period of 6 months' passed by the learned XII Additional Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai in Spl.C.C.No.7 of 2024 as against the petitioner by considering the period of incarceration and acquit the petitioner.
2. Mr.N.Ramesh, learned Special Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and he has no objection for ordering this petition.
3. This Court is convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is ordered.
4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision Petition, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in regular course.
