This Contempt Petition is filed complaining that the order passed by this Court in WP.No.23602 of 2017 dated 01.09.2017 has not been complied with.

2. Today, after notice, the respondent filed a counter affidavit wherein, it is stated that the order passed by this Court has been complied with, by publishing the details of the vacancy position in the official website namely "annamalaiuniversity.ac.in/index.php" with effect from 27.09.2017 and till date it is there in the column under admission notification 2017-2018. It is also stated

in the counter affidavit that the details of the Post Graduate Admissions during the year 2017-2018 is also annexed, by serving a copy of the same to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Recording the above said statement made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent, this contempt petition is closed.
