O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking police protection for the petitioner from respondents 2 to 8 in order to facilitate the transportation of Nilgiris trees, which were cut from the petitioner's land in Survey No. 16/2A, located at Soodakonapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. Heard both sides. Perused the material available on record.

3. Without delving into the merits of the case, the first respondent

is hereby directed to conduct an enquiry into the complaint lodged by the petitioner seeking police protection. The first respondent is to issue notices to the counter parties and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
