ORDER

The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 14.06.2017 at Ezhayiram Pannai Nadargal Maaligai in Chennai.

2. From the wedlock, a child was born. Due to matrimonial Page No 1 of 4

differences, the parties are before the VII Additional Family Court at Chennai in H.M.O.P.No.2680 of 2023. H.M.O.P.No.2680 of 2023 is a petition filed by the husband for divorce.

3. The wife is a permanent resident of Chrompet and is currently residing at Tiruvottiyur. She finds it difficult to travel from Tiruvottiyur to Chennai for every hearing along with the child. The wife has also made an allegation that the husband is threating her.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the allegations of the wife are false.

5. Without going into the allegations and counter allegations, taking the interest of the wife into consideration, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. Hence, the proceeding in H.M.O.P.No.2680 of 2023 pending on the file of the VII Additional Family Court at Chennai is withdrawn and it shall stand transferred to the file of the Sub Court at Tiruvottiyur.

6. Accordingly, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands Page No 2 of 4
