This miscellaneous petition is filed seeking to amend the prayer in the above writ petition as follows:

"... to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or order or direction in the nature of a Writ, calling for the record relating to the order of rejection in Letter No.22212/E1/Pa.Pi/TNSTC/Salem/2022 dated 12.02.2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent and the consequential promoted to the cadre of Assistant Manager in Technical Department in the Order in Proc.No.E1/1211/TNSTC(SLM)/2022-23 dated 05.01.2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 4 to include the name of the petitioner at the place of seniority No.1 in the panel for promotion of Assistant Engineer to Assistant Manager in Technical Department for October 2022 to September 2023 issued in Circular No.1211/E1/Per/TNSTC(SLM)/2022 dated 26.11.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent and promote the petitioner as Assistant Manager as on the date in which he was eligible for Assistant Manger with immediate effect."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that when the writ petition was taken up on 27.01.2023, the learned counsel for the second respondent produced a copy of the proceedings dated 05.01.2023 and submitted that the respondents 7 to 10 were already promoted to the Cadre of Assistant Manager and a liberty was granted to the petitioner to challenge the above proceedings dated 05.01.2023 by amending the prayer. Hence, the petitioner seeks this Court to amend the prayer challenging the above order dated 05.01.2023.

3. Such view of the matter, this petition is ordered, accordingly. 4.The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the cause-title and post on 04.09.2023.
