ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to release the fund in respect of the petitioner's arrears of salary and to credit the two years salary payable to the petitioner along with interest at the rate of 24% p.a.

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner served as a Teacher from 1999 to 2021 as well as Accountant from 2022 to 2023 at Tirupattur, Vellore District under the National Child Labour Project, which was sponsored by the Government of India and the salary for 21 months from 2021-2022 & 2022-2023 were not disbursed to the petitioner. He further contended that the petitioner made several representations to the first and second respondents, however there was no action and hence, the present petition.

4. On perusal of the case, it is seen that the petitioner was appointed as Accountant by the Additional Collector (Development), Vellore on 26.03.1999 but the petitioner instead of making representation to him, he made representations to the first and second respondents herein.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the third respondent / District Collector, Vellore (impleaded party) ventilating all his grievances, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the third respondent herein shall consider and dispose of the said representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks therefrom.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
