This petition is filed to condone the delay of 657 days in preferring the Second Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit and also considering the fact that the delay is 657 days, this Court is inclined to allow the petition, however, subject to payment of costs. Accordingly, the petition is allowed on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to the respondents through their counsel within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Post the matter on 31.08.2016 for reporting compliance.
