ORDER

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents had produced a copy of the proceedings of the Superintending Engineer, Mettur Dam, dated 08.07.2024, wherein it is stated that the petitioner's basic pay has been re-fixed at Rs.6,475/-, with effect from 10.07.2003, as per the orders passed in W.P.No.17078 of 2018, dated 09.02.2023.

2. In view of the restoration of the basic pay of the petitioner, the disobedience alleged against the respondents cannot be termed to be willful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 12.07.2024 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order hvk 2/4
