Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt proceedings as against the respondent for having disobeyed the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court in WP.No.24726 of 2016 dated 24.08.2021.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 24.08.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24726 of 2016, thereby directing the respondent to issue no objection certificate for the issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. 2.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent sent communication dated 12.04.2024 to the Tahsildar, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore, stating that, the issuance of no objection certificate does not arise and also requested to act accordingly. He also produced a copy of the letter dated 12.04.2024, before this Court.
