Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to demarcate the petitioner's property situated at 131, Keezhayur Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, comprised in Natham Survey No.365/2B2, 365/2B5 admeasuring to 4 cents and Survey No.365/2B admeasuring to 20 cents on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2018.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent herein to demarcate the petitioner's property situated at 131, Keezhayur Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, comprised in Natham Survey No.365/2B2, 365/2B5 admeasuring to 4 cents and Survey No.365/2B admeasuring to 20 cents, based on the representation dated 10.01.2018.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation is still pending and not disposed of by the respondent so far.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 10.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
