The above Transfer Petition is filed by the wife seeking transfer of HMOP.No.4435 of 2024 filed by the respondent / husband seeking divorce on the file of the Family Court, Chennai to the file of the Family Court, Cuddalore. In the affidavit filed in support of the Transfer Petition the petitioner has set out the following reasons: (a)The petitioner and her minor son who is now aged about 5 years are residing at Cuddalore with the petitioner's parents.

(b)Since the matter is pending before the Family Court, she has to travel for every hearing to Chennai thereby disrupting her sons schedule, who is presently undergoing schooling.

(c)Since the respondent has not been maintaining the petitioner and her son, she is finding it extremely difficult not only physically but also financially to attend the hearings.

2. Considering the above facts the transfer petition is allowed. HMOP.No.4435 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court, Chennai (the petitioner has not given the exact detail of the Court in which the case is pending) is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Cuddalore. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
