The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to restore 2/3 of salary being paid to the Junior Training Officers of the Government Industrial Training Institute with effect from July 2009 onwards in the revised scale of pay as per the pay commissions and pay the arrears of salary with interest and further continue to pay in future and pass such further orders.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to restore 2/3rd of the salary being paid to the Junior Training Officers of the Government Industrial Training Institute, with effect from July 2009 onwards in the revised scale of pay as per the pay commissions and pay the arrears of salary with interest and further continue to pay in future.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the aforesaid prayer, now he would restrict his prayer seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2011, within the time stipulated by this Court, since no orders have been passed so far.

3. On perusal, it is seen that the petitioner has submitted his representation dated 24.11.2011 to the Joint Director of Employment and Training, who is not a party in the present writ petition.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader representing the respondents would submit that if the petitioner submits a representation to the first respondent, the same would be considered, as per law.

5. In the light of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of this order and the 1st respondent shall consider and pass orders on merits, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
