Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to conduct an enquiry and make necessary entry in "A" register of the Ariyappadi Village and issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the Punja lands measuring 1.89 Acres (0.76.5 Hectares), comprised in Survey Nos.493/2A2, 493/2C, 493/5 and 494/2A at Mullai Nagar Ariyappadi Village and Post, Arni Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2021.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue Patta in respect of Punja lands measuring 1.89 Acres (0.76.5 Hectares), comprised in Survey Nos.493/2A2, 493/2C, 493/5 and 494/2A at Mullai Nagar Ariyappadi Village and Post, Arni Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2021.

2. This Court by order dated 30.03.2022 issued direction to the third respondent/Tahsildar to issue Patta in favour of the petitioners, if it is otherwise in order. In pursuant to that order the Tahsildar has rejected the petitioner's application.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Hence this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
