O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide suitable appointment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds, considering her representation dated 10.02.2014.
2. The father of the petitioner was working as a driver in the Medical and Rural Development Department. While so, he died on 22.07.2006 in harness. According to the petitioner, he is the only bread winner of the family. After the demise of her father, the brother of the petitioner made a request for compassionate appointment. But before it was provided, he also died on 05.01.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In these circumstances, the petitioner made representations on 10.02.2014 and 15.08.2014 to the respondents, to give her compassionate appointment. It is stated that she is not yet married. No orders has been passed on her representations.
4. I make it clear that even if she is married, compassionate appointment cannot be deprived of, on account of her marriage. Hence, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh representation, enclosing this order, to the second respondent and on receipt of the representation, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said representation.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
