This application is filed to extend the time for executing the security bond in O.P.No.788 of 2019.

2. I heard the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that O.P.No.788 of 2019 was allowed by order dated 08.11.2019 on condition that the petitioner should execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-. She further submits that the order copy was received only on 16.12.2019 and that because the applicant was unable to contact her counsel during the Christmas vacation and contacted the counsel only on 30.01.2020. Therefore, she requested for extension of time.

4. Upon considering the submissions of the learned counsel and on examining the affidavit in support of this application, I find that the applicant has made out sufficient cause to extend the time. Accordingly, this application is allowed and time for execution of the security bond in O.P.No.788 of 2019 is extended by a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
