side) O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to grant permission and protection to conduct "Eruthu Vidum Vizha" (Jallikattu Festival) in the 3rd week of February 2025 Particularly on 20.02.2025 at 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. or any other day at Survey No.139/1, the open Ground of the Government land (Maidhanam) the name of the place is Panchchaiyappan Circle, Karikkundumedu, near Wine shop Road in Thekkuppattur Village and Post situated in Natrampalli Taluk, Thiruppattur District by considering petitioner's last representation dated 22.01.2025.
2. The representation submitted by the petitioner seeking permission and protection to conduct "Eruthu Vidum Vizha" (Jallikattu Festival) to be conducted on 20.02.2025 was enquired along with the counter parties and rejected the request made by the petitioner, by an order dated 24.01.2025. At the same time, the counter party filed an application seeking permission and protection to conduct the same function and it was allowed.
