The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release the Tipper Lorry bearing Registration No.TN-22-CX-8258 seized by the Tahsildar, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai District on 09.01.2018 to the petitioner and pass such further orders.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to release the Tipper Lorry bearing Registration No.TN22-CX-8258 seized by the Tahsildar, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai District on 09.01.2018.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the respondent in Proceedings No.Moo.Mu/ A5/3228/2018 dated 25.07.2018, releasing the subject vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the said fact. Hence, nothing survives in this petitioner.

3. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
