O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent herein to investigate the case in Crime No.2157 of 2007 and file the final report in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On 29.06.2015, this Court has passed the following order "The learned Additional Public Prosecutor represents that the case records in Crime No.2157 of 2007 is not available in the police station and that, the present Inspector is taking steps for reconstruction of the case papers.

2.Under such circumstances, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Triplicane, who is in jurisdiction of F-3, Police Station, is directed to look into this aspect and take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

steps for reconstruction of the case diary in Crime No.2157 of 2007 expeditiously.

The services of the Inspector who had dealt with the case in Crime No.2157 of 2008 may also be requisitioned for this purpose.

3. Adjourned to 20.07.2015."

4. Today, Mr.Nesaian, Sub Inspector of Police (Crime), F-3, Nungambakkam Police Station is present.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction submits that the Police have reconstructed the case papers. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also sought time, for completing the investigation.

6. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, six weeks time is granted for completing the investigation, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Triplicane, Chennai.

7.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
